New York, NY, 1/15/09 — Rhoda Morgan set to release long awaited second album “Independence Day”

In a recent interview, Rhoda spoke about her upcoming release “Independence Day”, saying “Independence Day was waking up one morning and feeling totally liberated, overcoming all the difficulties I faced in both my personal life and musically as an artist. I went through a very tough period of my life last year but I wouldn’t change any part of it….I thank God for it everyday, because I found myself.” The album is scheduled to be digitally released across North America & Europe in mid-2010.

Rhoda Morgan's management has just confirmed a partnership with the company Wings Media. Songs from the album "From Brixton to Brooklyn" will be available to buy at over 300 retail stores within U.S. airports and aboard selected flights. This partnership will enable airline travelers to enjoy Rhoda Morgan tracks while they fly. So look out for Rhoda next time you fly!
